And where's the people flitting around in jetpacks? And robots doing all the housework. The roomba's nice, but kinda primitive, yes?

actually it is so you will have more light at the end of the day to go out and blow your money goofing off
Silverheart - March 11, 2013, 1:30 am

If memory serves, DST was originally conceived to provide more daylight hours for farming. Now it's more of a power saver, as in more daylight hours, less time with the lights on. At any rate, the times adjust at 2am, way before the sun rises.
CloudchaserS - March 10, 2013, 11:47 pm
What I don't get is why some states like the sun coming up at 5:30 when most people are still asleep. The whole purpose of DST is so there'll be more sunlight during the time when we're actually awake.
Silverheart - March 10, 2013, 12:39 pm

Best part is I live in a state that doesn't observe Daylight Savings Time. And my alarm clock has a 'convenient' feature, that it automatically reset for DST. So I got woke up at 6am which was really 5am. Dammit.
GaryO - March 10, 2013, 12:27 pm
oh-h-h-h, so it’s not spring back and fall forward…d***…gotta reset the clocks again...now I've lost two hours..5L btw

MrRandom - January 4, 2010, 11:28 pm
Paws probably aren't the best suited to it.

I'm do not follow gggg. Both your comments are pretty negative. Are there posters on this site you like? Maybe you could try complimenting some, or better yet making some posters yourself.
gggg - January 4, 2010, 9:33 am
So anybody who is really hard to impress and wants everyone to know it will get banned. You may think I am being sarcastic when I say: good, but you would be wrong.
agdaniele - January 3, 2010, 10:13 pm
Thanks... and to whoever is 1L bombing all new posters... I know your IP address, and you are one more 1L away from being banned. Hope you're paying attention... or you'll just have to guess why you were banned.

There's a**uming the fetal position, there's running around in a blind panic, there's cowering in the underbrush, there's doing all three in rapid succession ... there's tonnes of choices.
Derek - May 31, 2010, 7:36 pm
Surely it takes no courage at all - there is no choice

"What if" may lead to discovery, if it can't be disproved.
